1) Use OpenOffice. You can download openoffice here it is a free, open source alternative to Microsoft office and offers a print to pdf feature.

2) Use a pdf “printer” program. Several programs are available that install virtual printers on your computer and will create a pdf from any program that you run. Two of these are PDF 995 and Cute PDF writer.

3) Convert your DOC files to PDF online. This is a great option if you are working on a work computer or someone else’s computer and are unable to install new programs. The pdf’s are emailed to you.
